The Bachelor is in its thirteenth season. None of the bachelors from the other 12 seasons married the winner. Will Jake be any different?
The Bachelor revolves around a bachelor who chooses a potential wife from among 25 women. The show follows the bachelor as he goes on a series of dates with the women, some of them group dates, some one-on-one dates, and some of them two-on-one dates.
Each week women are eliminated. This process of eliminating potential wives dwindles down to four women. Towards the end of the season the bachelor make hometown visits to the final four's families.
Another lady gets eliminated. Then three final women each going on an overnight date to exotic location. The following week the two final women meet the bachelor's family.
At the end of the show, the bachelor chooses one woman with whom he would like to continue a relationship.
Ratings are huge. Throughout the twelve completed seasons average audiences have been nearly 10 million viewers per show.
