Combining Your Photo with a 3D Image
We offer over 1,250 images available in "Stock" or "Custom" laser etched crystals. "Stock" image crystals are those with only one 3d image from our image library etched inside crystal. "Custom" crystals include a combination of images from our Image Library, custom 3d images that our artists create for you and personalized text etched inside crystal.
Please check out our Canine crystals, we have over 600 dog images in our Image Library. Over 750 total Dog, Cat and Horse Images available for laser etching inside over 50 shapes and sizes of solid crystal.
How are laser etched crystals created? A laser beam passes through the crystal surface without damaging it. A computer system then instructs the laser to make a tiny fracture at a very precise coordinate within the crystal. The computer system will typically instruct the laser to make tens of thousands of tiny fractures which are perfectly positioned to create highly detailed images. The resulting images appear to float within the crystal.
2 1/2d etching process. Normal 2D etching has only 2-3 layers. The 2 1/2D process has up to 8 layers. The additional layers give the image added dimensionality, tremendous detail and almost a 3D effect. A typical 2D laser image might only have 40,000 points etched, but the 2 1/2D process has some pieces that have over 1,000,000 points etched.

The file formats we accept are: JPG, .GIF, .TIF, and .BMP. We can do multiple people, full body shots, buildings, picture of your home, pets or almost anything.

We highly recommend a lighted base with any of the plaques. The etching simply does not show up well enough without light shining along the edge. The LED lights shine up into the various layers within the crystal. Each base can be used with either batteries or an A/C adapter.
