What Makes Crystal Magic Unique?
They offer their 2 1/2 D laser etching process. This process produces up to 8 laser etched layers within the crystal glass. Dark colors have few layers; light colors have more layers. The resulting image has more depth than the standard 2 D process that other companies use. Each crystal is packaged in a silk-lined custom gift box providing for the utmost protection and presentation.

Sub-surface Laser Etched Photo Crystals
Crystal Magic can take any traditional photograph or digital image and convert it into a laser-ready images. The process used to create this art involves creating a short pulse of laser light. It is focused within a block of Optically Perfect Crystal. The laser light focuses on one spot at a time to create a tiny fracture. To create a single photo, thousands of micro fractures are made. The surface of the crystal glass remains smooth.

Bases
Crystal Magic offers a diverse selection of bases that complement their crystal products. The etching simply does not show up well enough without light shining along the edge. The LED lights shine up into the various layers within the crystal. Each base can be used with either batteries or an A/C adapter.
They offer stationary lighted or unlighted, revolving metal, plastic or wood bases, some with mirror tops. The lighted bases shine into the etched area of the crystal illuminating the image producing spectacular visual images. Each of the thousands of fractures within the image etched inside the crystal emits stunning refracted light.

Our 2 1/2D image process is a tremendous improvement over the traditional 2D process. We are one of the few company's in the world that offers 2 1/2D etching. In some department stores you may find a standard 2D process with 3 layers. Our 2 1/2D process utilizes special computer routines to make a traditional photo have up to 8 layers and the image appears to have a 3D effect. The 2 1/2D process needs only a scan of a standard photograph or an image from a digital camera. In our 2 1/2D engraving process, dark colors have fewer layers, lighter colors have more layers. The result is greater detail and an etched image that defies description and is unmatched by many other suppliers. |
